Since 1989, American Prototype has been
producing parts for various industries:
Semiconductor, Medical, Biotechnology,
Solar, Scientific Instrumentation, and
University level research and development.
American Prototype features state
of the art machine tools matched
with the latest in Solids based CAD CAM Technology
to create parts in the most productive
way possible. We have our roots
in manufacturing instrumentation
for Research and Development projects,
primarily at Stanford University.
The Prototype Department is still
very much a core feature of the
business. Our growth over the years
has been mainly due to our production
capability. Based upon late model
Fadal Machining Centers, integrated
with our GibbsCam NC programming
system. It has allowed us to offer
high quality CNC parts in small
or large quantities with minimal
setup time.
American Prototype can
manufacture parts using virtually
any materials from standard alloys
to exotic metals and plasitcs. With the addition of our Laser machine we can now process these materials quickly. In addition to part marking and engraving.
We have worked
hard to develop a reputation for
delivering parts on time and take
great pride in quality craftsmanship.
